.:3D in the happening:. baron Tieri concept

This 3D model is off of a concept piece from Baron Tieri’s website:

I am going to texture this one as a taxi.   I liked his concept because the model reminded me of the vehicles in “the fifth element”, and “f-zero” series for the snes, nintendo 64, and the gamecube.  All games and film are some of my early child-hood favorites.  And still are.

I have to admit, it is a funky design, but I love it.

The side textures are done. Now all I need to do is bake the main cockpit, and the wings. Then texture those.

Here is the jet turbine.  Four 1K by 1K textures, which include Diffuse, Normals (Tangents Spaced, and Nvidia Photoshopped Plugin), and also the Specularity color, and levels.

Continued to work on the rail cannon for a couple of hours here.  I added more to the textures.  Gave it a dirty look, oil dripping, and running along the crevices.  Next I will work on the jet engine in the back.

This is a gattling cannon I am working for another Maschinen Krueger models. I forgot the name of this particular model, I am guessing it is a PKf-85 Falke? 1K x 1K Diff, Spec, Norm, and AO as well.

almost finished with the texturing. so far, no normal mapping, this is for a web 3d engine test, which can only handle specularity, alpha maps, and diffuse channels.

modeled off of a few concepts i recently found.  also added a couple of things off of my own.  close to around 25,000 polies; only for 1st person view cam shot.  seperate lower LOD coming up next, and then texturing…
